Guttman and Blaevoet's Commissioning Team, partnered with Hamilton + Aitken Architects, has received an Honor Award for Historic Preservation from AIA SF. The Maritime Center was built to provide childcare for workers in the nearby Richmond shipyards during WWII. Its LEED Gold historic rehabilitation adapted the site for contemporary joint education and community uses.
