Tech Museum of Innovation // San Jose, California

This new educational resource celebrates Silicon Valley and the changes its technology has brought to our society.  Designed by Ricardo Legorretta to serve as a dramatic architectural landmark, it includes four galleries filled with hands-on exhibits, a domed Imax theater, cafeteria and gift shop, and two large atrium lobbies.  Each gallery features a different theme: The Innovation Gallery tells the story of Silicon Valley's evolution; The Explorations Gallery features exhibits on earth, sea, and space; The Communications Gallery looks at the impacts of the information age; The Life Tech Gallery explores human performance, medicine, and genetics.
