Oakland USD Central Kitchen, Instructional Farm and Education Center // Oakland, California

New central facility for food handling, preparation, storage, and distribution. The site includes an Administration Building, Education Center, and Urban Farm and garden.  It will provide seven million meals annually for the district’s 38,099 students.

Systems to be commissioned include HVAC, central building automation system, refrigeration systems, lighting controls, automated windows,  domestic and process water systems, and building envelope.

Designed to meet LEED and CHPS criteria.
