The new $130M, 128,000 square foot recreation center located on the main campus. The building includes a myriad of amenities such as a gymnasium with cardio equipment and a free weight area, fitness studios for spinning and aerobics, rock climbing wall and bouldering area, indoor running track, three full basketball courts, volleyball and badminton courts, a multipurpose activity court, an outdoor 50-meter competitive lap pool with diving platforms, and a separate large recreation pool, two outside decks, two large locker rooms, two gender-inclusive changing and shower rooms, facilities for sports club organizations, offices and locker rooms for athletic teams, and two large social spaces with plenty of data and power outlets.  Targeting EUI of 35kBTU/sf, the design incorporates natural, displacement, and mixed mode ventilation, radiant heating and other energy efficient systems.
