Renovation and upgrade design services for this architecturally significant building designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, which is a state and national historic landmark. Projects have included conversion of the old jail to offices, systems upgrades for the Marin County Department of Health, and systems review and design of system upgrades for the Civic Center. We have also completed a detailed calibration model for the existing Hall of Justice and the Administration wings. From this calibrated DOE2 model, we investigated a number of architectural options to replace the existing facades, addition of insulation, and a few system options. We delivered a detailed life cycle cost analysis to guide the decision with their sustainability goals.
