New Net-Zero Energy corporation yard campus. Built on a 50+ acre parcel of land, this new facility will become the new field operations center replacing SMUD’s current yard. Program includes a maintenance building, and an Administrative Office/Conference/Training Building with a Wellness Center. Sustainable features include photovoltaic’s, chilled beams, radiant heating, evaporative cooling, geothermal system, natural ventilation, solar domestic hot water, grey water system, and thermal energy storage.
