New student health center, including exam and treatment clinical spaces, specialty clinics, and support areas. It will provide primary care, women’s health, counseling services and health promotion and education. The project came in under budget and was completed six months ahead of schedule. Sustainable design features include chilled beams, extensive use of daylighting and a green roof. The project consumes 47.4% less energy than a building designed to meet the ASHRAE 90.1-2004 standard. It also received a PG&E Savings By Design owner incentive of $192,500.
